Pray that they will get over their computer fears and watch His Word in their own Japanese Sign Language. Pray that He will lead them from the fear of death and ancestors into His glorious light.
September 2nd – Kobe is the center for fashion and trends in the Hyogo area. Brand name clothing and accessories abound. Outside they look like they have it all together, but the inside tells a very different story. We have heard the stories. Pray that God will break through this facade and save them.
September 3rd – Praise God for the follow-up from the summer events. Two Bible studies are beginning and maybe more. Moe and others like her need your prayers as they meet with these seekers and share about our life changing God. Pray for protection from the enemy that wants to destroy this ministry.
September 4th – Through the joint efforts of volunteers from Mississippi and Washington, the volunteer coordinator and his family and local missionaries, two Japanese ladies asked to start studying the Bible. Now there is another that has been led to Christ, a Mr. En. Pray especially for Mr. En as he prepares to be baptized soon. (Wang & Rose Lee, Nagoya Team)
September 8th – Hank and Linda Lee ask you to please pray for Tai who recently began a music ministry and has been witnessing through both music and personal interaction after restaurant concerts. While excited at the initial responses to witnessing please pray for believers to come out of these newly begun ministries. (Hank & Linda Lee, Nagoya Team)
September 9th – The Gellerstedt’s ask you to pray for an elderly poet. Bob has shared with him how to come to faith in Jesus, but he says he wants to “wait.” Ask the Holy Spirit to work in his heart, so he will quickly come to faith and not wait.
September 10th – God has given Bob and Gloria many opportunities to meet young people of late. They have asked them to barbecues, parties, and out to eat during the summer. Pray for continued opportunities to share with these who need Jesus and that someone will come to accept Him as Savior and Lord soon.
